Pink Indigo Look of the Day | Dead Silence
Dead Silence by mypinkindigo
Dead Silence| Fashion with a rock’n roll twist
Edge, glamour and a little bit of grit.
These must haves are the seasons trending report and each piece is key to
achieving this look. Pairing the plum shoe with the maxi, sheer cutout top and
burgundy lip (possibly with the jacket thrown over your shoulder) gives the look a feminine touch without losing
the “Badass” factor. The maxi paired with the studded shoulder jacket and the
studded pump is almost deadly! With the second look ditch the jewels and let it
speak for itself!
Like always guys shoot us your style
questions to info@pinkindigo.com because we’ve got answers! Peace Love and Fashion Forever xoxo

Out in Oxblood
Out in Oxblood
It's that dark reddish-brown color sweeping racks for fall. This color was featured in many fall lines like Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, Joe Fresh, etc. and its also listed in Vogue's Most Popular Winter Pedicure Shades. The old fashion burgundy can be used as a great neutral and paired with hot pink to a bold houndstooth print. Glamor's writer and editor states, " I like to think of oxblood as red’s badass older cousin. It's dark, moody, but sophisticated too. This deep, rich color makes just about anything look edgy and luxe." So what do you think? Will you be wearing oxblood this fall?

Sunday Spa Day
Brightening facial
You need: One lemon, 3 whole strawberries, one banana
This DIY face mask is sure to brighten up a tired
complexion. The vitamin C in the strawberries lightens dark spots, the lemon
exfoliates, and the banana conditions.
How to: Remove the stems from the strawberries and dice.
Mash the diced strawberries in a small bowl with the banana. Add the juice of
one lemon, and apply to the face, avoiding the eyes. Leave on for 15 minutes,
or until the mask starts to feel dry. Rinse off with cool water.
Enjoy Ladies. Keep Calm and Sip Sunday Tea!

How-To: Wear Colored Jeans or Leggings
Give your pants a
professional twist with a blazer
Dressing for an internship can be a little… boring. Refresh
your internship apparel with your skinnies. Just make sure that this look obeys
your internship’s dress code. You don’t want to commit a fashion fail,
especially at the office.
Take on fall with a
cozy sweater.
Feeling a little risky? Rock your pants with a crazy,
patterned sweater.
Never underestimate
the power of neutrals
If you want your
pants to be the center of attention, pair them with neutrals.
Color Block, Color
Block, Color Block
The trick to using a color wheel is to choose colors that
are opposites. For example, add a yellow top if you’re wearing purple jeans.
Don’t worry color blocking will be a breeze soon enough.
Rock a leather jacket
Usually, colored jeans don’t say, “rock and roll.” But add a
leather jacket and some messy hair even some rockin’ boots!
Go wild with prints
If you love to make a fashion statement, you must sport your
colored skinnies with a patterned top. With a ton of different prints to choose
from, how could you not want to give this trick a try?
Simple with a
button-down
Nothing’s better than a button-down shirt; absolutely
classic.
Keep it casual with a
tanktop

If you’re a laidback kind of girl, keep it simple with a
cute tank. Give it a chic twist with awesome hair or makeup.

Shopping on-the-go
Sometimes you just don't have the time to try on! We understand,
but first make sure you are well equipped on 'the rules' before you ditch the fitting room.
1. The store return policy. This is a biggie. Always know
what will happen when you come back to return. Most have at least 30 days for a
refund. The smaller boutiques may offer store credit.
2. Know your body type and its complementary silhouettes. Pieces looks totally different on rack than on your body.
3. Your colors. Find out which colors suit you. Which colors
look well on the body and go well with your eye and hair color.
4. Your personal style. I admit it. I get caught up with
trends that look awesome on the runway, but are somewhat inappropriate for my
way of life. Be honest with yourself before shelling out your hard earned ca$h!
5. You’ll get a second chance. Let’s face it, not every
purchase will be a winner. Once you get home piece it in your wardrobe, give yourself time to love it. If not immediately place your item(s) in the bag with tags and receipt to make things easier for you.
When your low on time or just don't want to try on, remember these tips to avoid a fashionista tragedy! Thanks for reading and remember if you have any fashion questions or suggestions feel free to email us at info@pinkindigo.com

Fashion Q&A
Q&A Hey Guys! This is our Question and answer segment.
Questions you all have submitted to us to answer and help you be the best
fashionista you can be! This one is one of the more popular questions:
"Should an outfit ever be repeated exactly the same way
you’ve worn it before?"
That answer would be NO. Unless its uniform, no outfit
should ever look exactly the same way you’ve worn it before. There are a number
of ways to style your favorite tee and jean combo. Dress it up: Blazer, Tee,
Skinny Jeans, Pumps, Killer neckline accessories. Dress it down: Tee, Boyfriend
Jeans/Crops, cute Sandal, OR tuck it into some high waited denim with a
statement belt. Catch my drift? There are so many accessories and concepts that
can be put together and speak without saying a word. Layer it- High waist it-
Belt it- Get the Sparkles out! For those less creative with a scissor, use
other outlets like having the coolest accessories of all! Fashion has come too
far. We want you to have fun weather you follow trends or you set them. In
doubt?.. Let US style YOU! Submit your questions to info@pinkindigo.com

Chanel SS13
Makes you rethink the question “Does my bag have to flow
with my outfit?! “ They say this may be the largest Chanel bag of all time. History
has been made! It’ll probably retail for
a billion dollars and one to get their hands on a bag of its quilted hula hoop
greatness is one lucky fashionista. I
feel this will spark a huge oversize bag frenzy for spring which is very
exciting! What girl doesn’t love her bags!
A Closer
Look
It looks like the actual frame itself is
leather material of some sort. It looks pretty smooth but not seeing any major
shoulder support really. The front face is quilted white, hope to see it in
other variations. Of course the logo on the front was a must with something this extraordinarily different. Looks like the Chanel hula bag stole its own show. This bag gets a 10 for overall awesomeness!

From Day to Night
This second look shows an easy safe way to work around your favorite statement pieces. We all have that one piece in our closets we just had to have but have absolutely nothing to wear with it. A pencil skirt like this may be you 'impossible piece' but check this out..
Embracing this fall's peplum trend with this simple jacket left and again on the right with silk and leather. This high waisted skirt is so fun and abstract. A blazer would also work just as great with a outfit like this and is probably something you already own! Overall this is a killer look that easily goes from day to night time events! This fab skirt found at pinkindigo.com

Twisted Tuesdays
Fall feels a little rebellious! Let's start with this faaabulous cutout top. Super do-able for fall as it gets cooler but still getting to show a little skin. This fabric is so comfortable and can easily be paired with denim or leggings for a more lax feel. This long maxi skirt is great to have in your closet as it can be worn a number of ways. Love the high slit opening adding tons of effortless detail. I feel this definitely has an cuttle edge to it; a grunge look. This top and skirt are great transition pieces for the season and can be pre-ordered at Pinkindigo.com. So, what do you guys think about this edgy ensemble?
