'Tis the Season?

Ya it’s that time of year. The Christmas parties, holiday brunches, New Year’s...  Figuring out what to wear can be a challenge. Now we’re not telling you exactly what to wear but just a safe never sorry, holiday success. The TOP 3 holiday problems:  1. Wearing Too Much Glitz 2.Being Under or Over Dressed and 3. Putting It All Together. Ladies, make it easy!

No wonder women approach the holidays with dread. If you've ever dressed up shinier than a Christmas tree. Beading, metallic and shimmer are all fine for the holidays. In fact, most women wait until a good party to break out all of the glitzy finery. But too much shine can overwhelm anyone, especially if you wear it in areas that you don't necessarily want to highlight. Solution: Sequin at the bottom puts a twist on things. Most women would wear a sequin top and call themselves “holiday party ready” (psssh she's got nothing on these ---> http://pinkindigo.com/black-brown-sequin-pants-p-247.html)

On the other hand you show up in jeans, everyone else wears velvet; you wear a long dress and others wear business clothes. You're not alone if you have trouble deciphering “dressy casual” and “cocktail attire”. Solution: You can never go wrong at any holiday party around your boss in a blazer. (perhaps one with a little flare ---> http://pinkindigo.com/white-slit-back-blazer-p-208.html) Simple!

Now for those who have a hard time putting it all together:  When going simple in something like a little black dress, add some drama! Don’t make it so complicated with your hair. Opt for sexy half-up/half-down styles or pull your hair back into a low ponytail. As far as makeup goes, sometimes all it takes is a great red lipstick to dress it all up! Share this with friends on Facebook to help them look just as fab!

Cobalt | Color of the Season

**Trend Alert**
We all knew earlier this year during fashion week that cobalt was 'a' hot color for the fall/winter season. But no one told us it would be THE hot color of the season! Totally unfair warning walking into retail stores, while out shopping black friday even, that this color is springing off the racks. Although I must add that cobalt looks ah-mazing with the winter hues of oxblood and chocolate brown. Vouge states, "When the autumn shows rolled out in February, it was clear designers hadn't quite cast off thoughts of their upcoming summer holidays". Of course Vouge knew, they're Vouge! lol Thank goodness for Vouge though right?

We've got popping color and loads of sequence it's like a party in your winter wardrobe and we're excited about it. Love Fashion?  We do too! Shine Bright- Holiday Party Style

This holiday season is all about glitz and glam, and sequins are back and in a big way.  We’re not talking ‘80’s- style prom dress sequins, but a subtle and elegant dash of glitter that gives just the right amount of edge to any outfit. In fact, adding some sparkle to your look is not only one of 2012′s hottest trends — it’s also one of the easiest.  If you don’t already have your go -to sequin accessory, you need to get one before the holiday party circuit starts. Here, we’ve rounded up some of our glittery, most versatile pieces on the site.
