Gucci In Milan; it's gotta be perfection.

The fashion industry has been addicted to Gucci since 1921, and they continue to deliver still today in 2013. Creative director, Frida Giannini, took a different approach on sexy this year and I have a feeling it's going to be big.

See, I'm not sure about y'all, but I hate being cold. It seems as though every year as it starts to get colder, I am faced with a dilemma: to be fabulous, or to be warm? Well Gucci has decided no longer should women have to choose, because now they can have both! Giannini was inspired by 60's British artist, Allen Jones. Jones is famous for taking fetishism from behind closed doors to gallery floors (I'm such a poet, eh?) Gucci has a new idea of sexy: no bare skin... well, some bare skin, but hardly any. Their fall/winter 2013 line is so Italy: strong and sexy, and is both without being overbearing. There were long sleeve, body-con jersey dresses, paired with knee-high boots hitting above the skirt lengths. Only a few deep-v dresses and coats were spotted, but (of course) they were all done extremely tastefully, and there was a ton of leather! It was all done in perfect dark tones: army green, navy blue, burgundy, brown, and, of course, black.

The evening wear was to-die-for! The combinations of prints and fabrics were absolutely captivating. I fell completely in love with the polka-dot lace and feathers! This whole line is haute, head-to-toe sexy, without the cleavage. I love the idea of women being covered up as sexy, versus the typical ideal of baring it all. Very well-played, Gucci.

Keep or Toss: Gladiator Sandals

Remember, about five years ago, the gladiator sandal was HUGE? Not even gonna lie, I had a couple pairs: gold & silver. Well it seems as though the trend has made it's way back, and it is bigger than ever.

It was spotted all over New York in midst of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Designers have revamped the gladiator sandal into a full-on gladiator boot! How friggin' haute is that
My, what a controversial shoe! You either hate it or love it.
Me? I love it. If you've got the right legs, I say show 'em off, baby!
The gladiator heels are the perfect way to do that. Wear that sexy mini dress, throw on your gladiators and be the hautest thing not on the runway.

So what do you think? Keep or toss?

Tom Ford's London Fashion Week Debut

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The reasons I adore Tom Ford are extremely clear in his Autumn/Winter 2013 'Cross Cultural Multi Ethnic' collection.

Couldn't you die?! Talk about attention to detail, hello!

JUST LOOK AT THE PRINTS! Stars, Florals, Chevron stripes, Cheetah, Zebra, patterns freakin' galore!!! Tom Ford came hard to London's Fashion Week 2013. His collection was the definition of perfection, and is definitely going to set the standard for the fall/winter style we will see this year. Furry bombers, TIGER (yes, tiger!) trousers, and (although usually I would be 100% against them) sexy zebra shoes! He ruled this year. Tom stepped outside of his usual, yet still gorgeous, gowns and showed us that he can really do it all.
Hats off to you, Mr. Ford. Truly stunning.

Taylor Swift- 2013 Brit Awards

Heeeelloo! T.Swift showed OUT at the 2013 Britt Awards last night. Taylor totally turned heads in her a smokin' black Elie Saab dress, black strappy Giuseppe Zanotti ‘s and Neil Lane jewels.  She keeps that “rocker chic” look consistent with bold choppy bangs and a smoked out eye. Let’s talk about this DRESS! Yes ma’am! The length is perfect and with these sheer peekaboo sides, legs for daaays. The gold accent belt really ties the look together in a clean way accentuating her waistline giving her that hourglass figure we never see! This look is so fierce but can she follow through? What do you think? How do you like this look for Taylor?

NYFW Fall/Winter'13 Recap

New York Fashion Week is wrapping up so soon. L Well, until next time.  Here we go London but first let’s recap:
BCBG

We loved the cute beanies completing each look from BCBG MAXAZRIA. They did really well conveying a grungy, messy, layered look without coming across sloppy. Very well put together.

Project Runway
Spotted at the Project Runway show:  Nina Garcia, Zac Posen, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn! Must I say Heidi walked out the house looking like she KNEW where she was going! So fab!

Noon by Noor
Can we just speak on this piece for a sec? The structure of this blazer is so chic! It has such sex appeal with the deep V but interestingly enough has a bit of a masculine feel with the exaggerated fold. A fall must have, I’m call it!

Nautica
The masculine pieces + the hot factor in this show was breathtaking. Really great menswear collection by Nautica.

Charlotte Ronson
We waited a whole year and oh Charlotte! I can’t say I’m surprised. Her collection never fails to disappoint.

Jill Stuart
Can I just say how refreshing it was to see Jill Stuart throw this pop of tangerine at us! Paired with these strappy oxblood heels adding just the right amount of girl power!

Nina Skarra
We couldn’t skip this on. I mean how adorable is this Skarra piece and just in time for V-Day.

DKNY
Honestly one of our fav’s. Every piece UN-deniable <3

                  Diane Von Furstenberg
This chick BROUGH it with this cobalt blue dress. Loving this open chest trend, She does it so classy. The belt adds a 70’s vide to the look, WE CAN DIG IT!

Betsey Johnson
What the heck is new? We love Betsey! Girls just wanna have fun

Marc by Marc Jacobs
This collection is AMAZING. Such a throwback and we loved every gorgeous print.

 Tory Burch
The old Victorian style added quite the twist to fashion week. Can’t wait to see how this comes to life this autumn.

                      Jcrew
Two words, Brad Goreski ahahaa. The woman’s wear is so clean and glamorous. Power couple wear!

Vera Wang

Doesn't this dress make you want to go back in time &  wear this to your senior prom?! Phenomenal

                    Michael Kors

I seriously can’t get over that blue pattern two piece, SICK!

Celebs LOVE MK
Spotted Zoe Saldana looking STUNNUNG at the MK show.

Always good to see you, Willow

Nanette Lapore
We rely on the queen of color this time of year. Do I see fuchsia? How about that coat? That’s what I call army fatigue heaven, man.

Rachel Zoe
Can I totally apologize on Mileys behalf for being so awesome? She stole the show #bible! How cool does Miley look at the Zoe show? She’s got style dripping from her fingertips.

Halftime 47 with Destiny's Child

America’s worst kept secret has been confirmed. Nonetheless reunited and it feels SOO good! 5 min and 30 seconds into the 47th Superbowl Halftime show every 90’s baby dreams became a reality! THE trio of the late 90’s early 2000’s performed they’re hit songs ‘Bootylicious’ and ‘Independent Woman’! The crowd was on their feet and everyone at home was almost in tears. YES, history has been MADE. Beyoncé said it herself that DC was finished.

Ain't nobody aint fresher than my CLIQUE! First out Kelly then Michelle! It was just as I remembered “Kelly, can you handle it!”  The girls sounding AH-mazing together.  Although reading many tweets some would say Michelle’s mic umm “wasn’t working” properly. The three dressed in what looks like leather looked so fab! Again, tweets would say Michelle’s look was.. Well the term used was “weak” in comparison. Tell us your thoughts. Do you think Bey and Miss Rowland really BRING IT, or did Michelle's lack some oomph? Overall the three looked top notch, sounded amazing, have bosoms that haven’t yet defied gravity, and DIDN’T have lipstick on their teeth. Sorry Madonna.

Was that it for DC? Will the ‘on again off again’ Destiny's Child's group be reunited once again?  No one’s saying yay or nay but I would love to know!
